This is a film about a rich, virtually untouched natural land where many settlers finally stopped roaming. Only 40 years after Lewis & Clark first set foot in Missouri, the last American buffalo and final elk herd were killed in vast separate locations. Plowing, draining, burning, cutting and shooting their way, our ancestors gloriously marched on until destruction surrounded them. By the 1930's, economic disasters met abuse in the ecological arena. The twin fists of the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl nearly overwhlemed the land and its people.
But at that rock bottom, hunters, businessmen, and community leaders took action.
The surprising results changed conservation in Missouri for the better, forever. Effective leadership brought nearly universal acceptance and support, establishing broad trus in a government agency which may not be paralleled in our country. Especially today this may seem shocking, however. this support is really a statement about the values which the people of Missouri see and hold dear.
Shot in Cinematic 4K Ultra High definition, recorded in Ambiosonic 7.1 Surround Sound, with cutting edge photo-realistic animation, we are bringing an experience to the screen which has never been seen before.
